Global tyre brand Continental needed a digital agency to create engaging content for its South African social media channels, while also undertaking a community management function to ensure a positive online brand experience for its customers and potential customers.
In close consultation with the client and their global team, GNL created engaging social media content for Continental Tyre SA’s platforms which fitted its global identity, but which also engaged with its local audience – offering helpful safety and travel tips while reiterating the company’s global stature as a safe premium tyre brand.
GNL’s strategy to create engaging brand-orientated posts saw the organic (unpaid/unboosted) reach of Continental Tyre SA’s content double over three years, reaching millions of South Africans annually.
GNL also ensured that comments and queries to the brand’s social media pages were responded to timeously, professionally, and were flagged with the relevant customer service member to help translate any online queries into sales for the brand.
Since 2017, GNL has assisted with the content creation, community management and general management of the social media pages for Continental Tyre SA. They have worked closely with our brand ambassadors, other services providers, and our in-house team to execute the South African pages’ overall brand strategy.
