THE Task
As South Africaโs leading retail salt brand, Cerebos needed to keep its brand top-of-mind among consumers who were increasingly using social media. The company also required a news-savvy agency to manage its public relations and liaise with the news media on its behalf.
OUR SOLUTION
With the Cerebos customer base increasingly turning to social media, GNLโs strategy kickstarted by creating engaging content for the brand first and foremost. This was primarily aimed at foodies, amateur chefs, food vloggers and parents who cooked for their families.
Thanks to GNL, the number of times Cerebos content appeared in social media newsfeeds nationwide increased by an average of 900% over a span of three years.
Notably, more consumers began positively interacting with the brand online, with an average social media engagement growth rate of 550% over the same period.
GNL also managed Cerebosโs reputation in the news media, successfully helping avoid any negative press about the brand.
Since 2017, GNL has managed Cerebosโs social media presence and created content for its Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages. They have also executed strategic news media communications and liaison for the brand. They work closely with our brand ambassadors, other service providers, and our in-house marketing team to achieve the overall brand strategy for Cerebos.
